I own a copy of CS2. When I did an update a little over a year ago, it informed me that I had an invalid license. My reaction? "zOMGWTFBBQ?!?!" (to borrow a phrase from a popular web comic)
So, many emails later, Adobe says that I gave out my license key... I say no. They say the only other possibility is that it popped up in one of the many key generators out there. (Well, DUH!)
Either way, they say I have to buy a new license, and more specifically, CS4, because that's what they're supporting now, not CS2. Dubya-Tee-EFF?! Riiight, so I pretty much say "fuckit!" to drawing. I'll work on other creative outlets.
THEN, I go reading
So, I decided, oh, what the heck, I'll try out GIMP. So far, I have to say it's very much like Photoshop, and I'm quite impressed.
EXCEPT that my graphire3 is jittering like MAD and makes drawing a bit difficult. I'm wondering if the old thing is finally ready to kick the bucket (I hope not, I sure as hell can't afford to replace the little bugger).
In other news, I'm going to be attempting to get in to college this fall (about time, eh!? ) ... yeah, I know.
TTFN, Y'all!
